How to Look Good Naked

I watched 'How to Look Good Naked' hosted by Carson Kerssley some time ago, a popular TV show in the U.S., and I was amazed with his techniques to build the self confidence on a depressed, frustrated, lack of confidence woman. He does not do plastic surgery, does not suggest the woman to do diet nor to take the slimming program, or any method to make her beauty. He brings the woman to the public and asks the opinions from the strangers about the woman in naked position (with bikinis). As the master of fashion, he shows different ways to combine the clothing to overcome a person's fears.

Several things that I believe we can learn from the show:

Just be yourself, don't try to become Tyra Banks, or Victoria Beckham, or any other super-skinny models outside there. You have your own body, and you should be grateful with that. The more you see other people and try to imitate them, the more you will lose your own identity. You just have to build your own identity with your own personality.

You are YOU, not HIM, not HER, not THEM! Love yourself, love your own body, and do not love other's body. The next time you THINK you are ugly, open your clothes in front of the mirror and tell to 'that picture' that I am BEAUTY. At least, that's how he does to the woman.

You may think that you are an ugly-looking-duck, but others may see you as a swan, so don't worry too much. Walk with confidence, walk with straight head.

Do not be afraid to try new things (fashions, etc). Sometimes, with sceptical mind, we are afraid to try something that we don't really know. But who knows that new thing can create a better we? If there is no harm of trying, then why not? It may not turn into a perfect outcome, but it can also turn into a better you. Be positive.

Personally, I don't believe with diet, gym, slimming products and other related things. It is because diet for me is a torture. You feel like eating something but you decide not to because you are afraid you will gain weight. Later on, you will just regret of not doing that. That is just rubbish. When do you think you can do the same thing again? It might not be available the next time you want it.

On that super-skinny models, what is they beauty of looking into walking bones (+skin)? Hello, people with rational mind, think carefully. What to see on those creatures? Nothing!

Of course, you have the choice, but just think rationally before you act. I might be wrong, but one thing for sure, this is my stand point.

I hope this writing will not offense to any readers, especially those who are freak with slim body.
